I saw it on an episode of CSI it causes hilucinations and curing addiction is a side effect.

Get this, I took Valium to get over drinking, then had to withdraw from that. So there is no easy way to addictions.

I think methadone is used to help junkies in withdrawal,
but it’s not a perfect solution, and it can be addictive in itself.
Also, I don’t think it’s considered a real cure, because the treatment can last indefinitely.
